My computer was down

As we use and study the mechanical and electrical components of the computer they teach us a few things about life. My computer e-mail server was down for three or four days and someone with more experience than myself got to working on it. First of all in the process of fixing another computer the line to the internet was unplugged. Due to being unplugged it wasn't as simple as plugging it back in. We had to visit the web page provider in order to re-set the commands and get things straightened out again. Once all this was done my e-mail account still wouldn't work until I remembered that from time to time we need to turn off the computer and reboot by starting it again. When this action was accomplished; well to my surprise here came my mail before my eyes.
Isn't this somewhat like our walk with God. There are times that we need spiritual attention and for some reason or other we try to unplug from God without thinking of the consequence. There is a commonality here that teaches us to stop what we are doing that is not bringing results and shut everything off. Just like the computer we have to go to our command central and get reconnected. At times they want to identify who we are and what is the password to our account. When we have been unplugged spiritually we need to once again identify our relationship to our account holder (Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior). SO I leave you with this thought. If we are not connected to the source of strength and salvation we work and labor in vain. Isn't it more fulfilling to have something that works rather than say: Transaction incomplete.
Think about this and strengthen your connection in Christ. It will benefit you greately.
